Cookies & Cream Swirl Buns

Sunday, September 3, 2023 | 3:00PM - 6:00PM

$149.00

Join Pastry Chef Keri in learning to make Cookies and Cream Swirl Buns (a cookie filled twist on the classic cinnamon buns).  First you'll make a delicious Chocolate Cookie Crumb Filling to spread inside of some dough that's been made ahead of time for you. Keri will show you all her tricks and tips for getting the perfect swirl on your buns…how happy does she look with that perfect swirl? While those buns are proofing, you'll make a batch of Brioche Dough to take home with you (the dough needs to rise overnight). You'll learn how to make your own Homemade Oreo Cookies and a delicious Cream Cheese Frosting to top your buns with after baking. While your buns are baking, you’ll get to enjoy the batch that Keri prepared earlier.

Finally, you’ll learn how to decorate your masterpieces to bring home to the oohs and ahhs of your friends and family!

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo* types:

YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child

YES: Couples/Roommates (live in the same household)

YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)

*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two people sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day.

We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.

Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.

You have no idea how difficult it was to refrain from including some of Sir Mix-a-lot’s lyrics in the description!
